Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and Google account ID.
Photos: When you scan your fridge or receipt, the photo is sent to our servers for AI analysis. We do not permanently store your photos — they are processed in memory and discarded. A small thumbnail (200px) may be saved with your recipe for display purposes.
Recipes: Recipes you choose to save are stored in your account, including the recipe text, ingredients, steps, and optional nutritional information.
Usage Data: We track daily scan counts for subscription limit enforcement. We do not track your browsing behavior or sell your data to third parties.
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.
We use the following third-party services:
Your account data and saved recipes are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed. Daily scan logs are retained for operational purposes and do not contain personal information beyond your user ID.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure server configurations. Sensitive data such as API keys and database files are stored outside the web-accessible directory.

Snap2Pan is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
