1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Snap2Pan ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Snap2Pan is an AI-powered recipe generation platform. Users upload photos of ingredients, and the Service uses artificial intelligence to identify ingredients and suggest recipes. The Service is provided "as is" and recipes are AI-generated suggestions, not professional dietary or medical advice.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

4. Subscription Plans

Snap2Pan offers the following tiers:

• Free: 3 scans per day, up to 10 saved recipes.
• Pro ($3.99/month or $39.99/year): 15 scans per day, alternative recipes, unlimited saved recipes, ad-free experience.
• Pro+ ($7.99/month or $79.99/year): Unlimited scans, dietary filters, nutritional information, shopping lists, meal planning, receipt scanning, ad-free experience.

5. Billing and Cancellation

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription option in your profile. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until renewal.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the Service.
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose other than personal recipe generation.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Snap2Pan name, logo, and branding are the property of Snap2Pan.
• Recipes generated by the AI are provided for your personal use. You may share them freely but may not resell AI-generated content as your own product.
• Photos you upload remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Snap2Pan uses artificial intelligence to identify ingredients, generate recipes, create meal plans, and estimate nutritional information. AI can and does make mistakes. All AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

• Not Medical or Dietary Advice: AI-generated recipes, nutritional information, and dietary suggestions are estimates and should not be treated as professional dietary, medical, or nutritional advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for dietary needs, especially regarding allergies or medical conditions.
• Allergy Warning: While our dietary filters aim to respect your preferences and allergies, AI is not infallible. Always verify ingredients if you have severe allergies. Snap2Pan is not responsible for allergic reactions resulting from AI-generated recipes.
• Accuracy: AI-generated ingredient identification, recipes, and nutritional estimates may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always use your own judgement when preparing and consuming food.
• Food Safety: AI-generated recipes may not always account for proper food safety practices. Follow standard food safety guidelines for cooking temperatures, storage, and handling.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snap2Pan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to foodborne illness, allergic reactions, or any adverse health effects resulting from following AI-generated recipes.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are used fraudulently. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

11. Modifications to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
